Thai Yoga

A relaxing and revitalizing blend of assisted yoga, therapeutic Thai Yoga, and mindful movement!

There is an extensive network of energy lines running throughout the body. It is through the stretching of this network of energy lines that Thai Yoga releases tension. By allowing energy to flow more freely, the method works to alleviate problematic conditions such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches, digestive difficulties, menstrual problems, and stress-related conditions.

Promoting this free flow of energy also works to restore balance and create a deep state of relaxation and well-being for both the client and practitioner.

Thai Yoga consists of a series of interactive, flowing movements, and stretches along all the body’s energy lines and pressure points. The often deeply meditative experience can result in a profound release from mental and physical stress.

Thai Yoga is performed while the client is fully clothed, and generally lying on mats on the floor.  Unlike Massage Therapy, very little lotion or oil is used.  The practitioner always supports the client’s body. The session can be performed more dynamically, with stimulating results, like the blissed-out feeling after a good Yoga
